this is one of the best sonic games i ever played!the voice acting was good and the amount of violence actually worked out well for a sonic game.shadow is my favorite sonic character and this game just made him even better.The level lethal highway really took advantage of everything.Using a combination of weapons and vehicles made this one of the best levels in the game.When shadow debuted in Sonic adventure 2 for the dreamcast (later ported to the gamecubesonic adventure 2 battle)he was an evil character,yet every game has made him good at the end.Shadow has more of a friendly rivalry with sonic but in this game shadow is willing to kill to find out his past.A great final boss and an interesting and surprising storyline make this one of the best sonic games ever made.

This game does so much wrong in so many areas that not only does it faila Sonic game, but it failsa game in general.<br/><br/>Pros<br/><br/>+Interesting idea for branching areas/paths in the story<br/><br/>+The FMV cutscenes look amazing<br/><br/>+Some of the music is alright<br/><br/>+Still feels like a complete game unlike '06 or Boom<br/><br/>+Some laughter can be had when you're not being frustrated at everything in the game<br/><br/>Cons<br/><br/>-Mediocre to bad voice acting<br/><br/>-Bad graphics and horrible lighting<br/><br/>-Bad story filled with plot holes<br/><br/>-Bad controls<br/><br/>-Badly implemented mission goals (especially the "find/destroy X number of things" missions). There's also weird consistency issues with who's "good" or "bad" in a level, especially levels with Eggman. Everyone will attack you either way.<br/><br/>-Low emphasis on speed in most missions to the point where going fast will hinder you<br/><br/>-Bad level design<br/><br/>-The cursing, gun violence, and vehicles feel shoehorned into the game at best<br/><br/>-Bosses are poorly done (the Eggman boss relies almost entirely on luck, for example)<br/><br/>-None of the endings really matter since there's a *True Ending* that makes any other endings completely null, turning them into "What Ifs" at best<br/><br/>Recommended to: 13-16 year olds who need some angsty video games with cheesy stories; Extreme Sonic fans I guess?<br/><br/>I really am amazed this hasmuch praiseit does, but that's just me I guess.
